what sort of price would i be looking at to get 2 gate pillar's built. Just plane block pillars. would i need permission for pillars

If it's an existing vehicular entrance, which you are not altering, planning permission (usually) not required.
If it's a new vehicular entrance, or if you intend to widen an existing vehicular entrance, planning permission required.
