Went looking for a thread similar to this, can’t seem to find it!

Anyways scuttlebutt says there’s something larger than the usual getting used for BA flights for LHR-DUB sometime in March. Anyone know? Paddy’s Day rush maybe?

Ahhh, memories, a long time ago now, when BA had a much more varied fleet, you could turn up for a flight to Heathrow, and it could be anything from a BAC1-11, 737-200, 737-300, 757, and even occasionally, a L1011 Tristar.

The normal was a 737-200, but they seemed to swap things around on a regular basis, I can't remember ever seeing 767 or 747 on the route, but it certainly was varied. Aer Lingus was either 737-300 or 400, it was long before the Airbus was introduced

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

President Biden and accompanying flying circus is to be in Belfast on 11th April and then in the Republic from 12th to 15th or 16th, presumably touching down in Dublin on 12th.

Should be an interesting week for aircraft activity and spotting around DUB and perhaps other regional Airports.
