Blades slow to engage when machine warms up

    I have a castlegarden xt190hd. After about 30 mins cutting the blades can become really slow to engage. When I pull the knob to turn them on it can take a minute or 2 for them to engage. Sometimes dropping the revs and rising them back up can help. It engages perfect when cold or after letting it cool down.


    Do the electric clutches give trouble and could this be expensive

    Could also be the belt? The clutch could be working fine but the belt once it warms up stretches a little and probably settles in the off position at a wear point making it more difficult to engage. Any smell of rubber when it takes 2 minutes to engage?
