Hi all, lm currently working with my local council on a pilot project on a two year contract which is ceasing in 3 months time. My role has now got permanent funding which means the role is going to be extended to every county however l along with some other colleagues have to reapply and reinterview for our jobs. If we are successful in getting our jobs and become permanent do we have to to go through the 6 month probationary period even though we did this with the two year contract. Our job title and job spec will remain the same?

We're not creating a new forum for the sake of this. Moved to a forum that's related to the topic instead.

Ask your union. They will be familiar with precedents set in previous similar cases.
