Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Impossibly blocked bathroom sink?

    Looking for some help please.

I've got a bathroom sink that will not drain. I'ts got an anti syphon style trap underneath it (which is extremely diffiicult to access with the pedestal being so close to the wall).

Everything has been tried on it. Baking Soda & Vinegar, Draino/Mr Musscle chemical uncloggers, pneumatic drain gun, drain snake (which can go 3m down the plumbing, not feel like its hitting any clogs or blockages and come back out without the sink draining and not have debris on it). When I plunge, water is coming out of the overflow hole in the sink.

The washing machine also feeds into the outflow pipe AFTER the anti syphon trap and flows freely, so I know the issue is from the sink to the anti syphon trap.

I'm stumped that I can snake it no issues and the sink wont clog. If there is a blockage in the overflow, could this be causing a vacuum to stop the sink from draining?

The only thing left to do is remove the anti syphon trap and inspect that which is physically impossible to do behind the pedestal.
