Farm petrol strimmer

Hi, anyone recommend a petrol strimmer. I had a Stihl must have been 20 years old but it got robbed. Need it for trimming under electric fence briars and rushes so it needs to be able to run a solid blade. Are the straight shaft ones better than the bent ones? Any advice appreciated. I would recommend one of them long neck hedge trimmers over the strimmer for that type of work. Something like the below
