65 Inch TV

Hi, I am hoping to purchase a 65" TV which would be suitable for watching fast action sports - but am worried about motion blur etc. The two I have been looking at within my budget (about €900) are the LG Nano766QA and the Samsung Q60B QLED Quantum. I have been told both might suffer picture quality for football etc. Any recommendations on these or other models at that price? Thanks

The Q60B will still give some motion blur etc when watching the like of football unfortunately. I've seen this in action both here at the store and at a friends house and it doesn't handle sports as well as others. The Nano766 I haven't seen stock of in a while and I don't see it listed on my stock listing anymore.

Ideally you want a TV with 100-120Hz and the Q60B is only 60Hz.

If you could stretch to the likes of the Philips 65PUS8507 at 999 Euro it would have been motion handling than the two mentioned above even though its only 50Hz.

For a 120Hz you would be jumping to 1099 Euro for the Philips 65PPUS8557

It might be a good idea to try and get to see the Q60 series in action to see what you think yourself.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you have the LG QNED81 65" in stock? I think this may have a 120hz display? Do you know if it is any better at handling some motion blur - or should I look at the Philips as a better option? Thanks again.

The LG 65QNED816 would be a great one to go for and would perform better than the Philips 8 series.
