Details of the BusConnects limerick plan:

1. Redesigning the bus network
2. Building a new network of bus corridors and cycle lanes
3. implementing state of the art ticketing system
4. Implementing Cashless payment system
5. Simpler fare structure
6. New bus livery
7. New bus stops and shelters with better signage and information
8. New Park and Ride sites in key locations
9. Transitioning to a new zero emmissions bus fleet

The BusConnects Limerick is expected to be fully rolled out in 2025.

Poxyshamrock

New Bus Network for Limerick now available on the busconnects website. Some small changes from the draft published in February but nothing significant to note.

Route 3 will not longer be split into 3A/3B from Southill.

Route 6 will now serve Lynwood Park and connect to Childers Road via Norwood Park/St Brigid's School.

Small changes to routing of routes 4a and 4b at Mungret and Raheen Ind Estate.

All buses for UL will access via East Gate, with proposed bus gate near Milford Hospice removed.
