Church of Ireland Parish records

Hi,

I'm researching g-g-g grandmother Elizabeth Margaret Conboy. From what I've found she was born in Leitrim (1855 or 1859 depending on which census I believe) and married in CofI in Cloonlough, Manorhamilton in 1880 (https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1880/11034/8035256.pdf)

Assuming she was also born there, I cant find any birth/baptisms records on ancestry or the free sites and so looking at CofI list here https://www.ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/registers/ParishRegisters/PARISHREGISTERS.pdf it states records are kept at Church Body Library, Churchtown, Dublin 14

It seems though that you need to pay €20 for them to perform a search, presumably with no guarantee of a hit.

Can anyone advise if this is the only way, or how else might I check for any records? Can you walk in and do a search yourself?

Do you mind me asking what help a politician can provide?

Is he involved in genealogy?

Have you tried searching Roots Ireland?

According to John Grenham they have transcripts for Manorhamilton (Cloonclare).

Drop into the RCB Library and check the records yourself. I've done it many times. The staff are very helpful.
