Interest rates on goal and mortgage saver account

Hi I am thinking of opening a goal saver or mortgage saver account. Can you confirm if I go over €15,000 on the savings account does the whole amount earn an interest of 0.01%. Or is it just the amount over the €15,000 that earns 0.01% and the first €15,000 still earns 0.75%. Thanks

Hi Megan,

Not to be rude but I already contacted messenger and now boards.ie. If both "other forms of contact" are just going to give a number to call then you might aswell close them down. I am in work from 9am to 5pm and I can't be on the phone for 40 minutes waiting for a simple answer. So can you please find the answer and either write it on boards or send it in a private message. We've checked with our savings team who replied with the following: The interest for these types of accounts are tiered – the portion of balance below €15k earn .75% and amounts over €15k earn .1%.
