222 Rem

I've the opportunity to buy a 222 rem fairly cheap...is it pointless given that ammo is so scarce here. I won't be doing a lot of shooting with it as i have a 243 and 308 as well. Does anyone here use one?

Mccoullagh sports seems to have sellier and bellot soft points too

If fairly cheap is sub 300 euro than go for it , it's a bit cheaper to shoot than even a 22 hornet not as cheap as a 223 but it's a good little round

If you have a .243 and a .308 I'd nearly recommend getting a 17hmr

In reality the 243 can do all the 222 or 223 can but better and a 17hmr and 22 would be better for rabbits etc

I have a 17 hmr and was going to trade it. I dont like the 17 for some reason. I never seem to get on with it. I got a dodgy batch of bullets once and 2 got stuck in the barrel and for that reason I dont trust it anymore.
