Between Nenagh and Ballina, lots of snow, still falling. Cars getting though, banks of slush building up on the roads.

Just a miserable wet day here in Dublin 7. About to head out for school run - should be delightful. Hoping for some whiter drops later today

Gone from snow grains in the wind to light to moderate small snow. Hopefully the bigger and heavier stuff will start soon.

Same. Blizzard conditions on the road at 7am. Massive beefy flakes.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Was snowing and starting to stick at home in Tara. Drove into navan and it’s raining. A bit of elevation making a big difference here.

Very disappointing in south Dublin. Mainly rain with a few flakes thrown in. Hopefully tonight it will be all snow as the system clears east 🤞

Scutter is what I would call North Dublin weather this morning. Certainly not snow anyway.

Yep for sure, I looked at the traffic cams around Dundrum/Sandyford too, even there it's still just cold rain!

I didn't watch the proposed evolution of this with as much interest as normal as clearly it wasn't going to snow here. But just generally, is this as expected so far? Wasn't expecting to hear of snow in Limerick and Clare this morning (though did expect it later on the wrap around).

Woke up in Kilkenny town to wet sleet hitting sodden pavements and roads - nothing but a miserable November morning out there.

I think the easterly winds bringing in Irish sea warmth were always going to be problematic for Dublin this morning and today, its tonight is your chance

Wonderful snowfall in West Wicklow/East Kildare. Turned from rain about an hour ago. Very pregnant skies 😍

Wild bitter wind and lowering gray skies..

I went outside to check the mountains for snow, but they were not there..the mountains I mean! just lowering dark gray leaden skies down to the earth BUT with that distinctive look snow clouds have..YOU know! With a hint of almost deep brown

The windchill out there.. is ....sullen gusts...

    West Mayo offshore

Was surprised to wake up to 1 to 2 inches of snow here in County Antrim this morning and the main event hasn't even arrived here yet.

Forecast spot on in fairness, a mix bag throughout the country of rain sleet and snow. People in Dublin giving out about rain you should look at the forecast, the best change for Dublin was always for tonight not this morning.
