Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Currently looking to buy a weekend car for a bit of comfort and fun . Been looking at a few beamers, mercs and range rovers but the issue I find is that the type of car Im looking to buy has a 3litre or higher engine capacity and the motor tax on these is anywhere from €1200 - 1500 a year which I find hard to justify paying for a car that I know I will only use probably one or two days a week. Does anyone on here have suggestions on any tips around this kind of issue ? I presume theres no way of paying less tax because of less use anyway.. but any tips or suggestions are welcome...

Also regarding motor insurance for a car I'll be using only one or two days a week, I have open insurance so would this cover it enough or would I have to get seperate insurance also for this?

    Thanks in advance
