HSE moving dept before 12 months probation is up

Hi I'm currently working in HSE for a couple of months now. I have now got on a HSE panel same grade as I am currently on but it will mean less of a commute as I will be closer to home. If I was to accept a job before my 12 month probation is up can this be done Will my probation carry over to my new job Thanks

Depends on the terms of your promotion post. Not necessarily need to pass probation (thinking especially for external advertised posts). Details should be included on the job ad document.
