Residential Care and Pensioner Household Benefits

My father who is over 80 is going into residential care this month and I'm wondering if someone can tell me in advance what changes this will have on his pension and benefits, in particular:

1. His Household Benefits (Electricity) €35 Allowance
2. The Free TV licence
3. Pension Fuel Allowance

He will come out of the residential home most weekends to his home during he day time when his family are around to keep an eye on him. So the house will need to be kept heated. He doesn't watch TV any more, so if he was going to lose the Free TV license we'd just remove the TV from the house. He won't ever stay overnight in his home again.

We're aware that he will lose the living alone allowance.

He is moving into another house, therefore he will lose all three.

Those benefits are dependent on him being a resident in his original home, so when he no longer is those benefits are no longer payable to him.
