    Every year Sanctuary Runners take part in the Cork City Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay event in great numbers, running shoulder-to-shoulder together in solidarity, friendship and respect with those who are seeking refuge from war, poverty and persecution as well as people who have made Ireland their home through work, study or travel.

    This year, the Cork event will have a 10k race and Sanctuary Runners are looking for 10 people from each community, workplace, friend group, secondary school, university, sports club etc. to take part wearing the now well recognised Sanctuary Runners blue t-shirt.
