Apple Music Classical launching on March 28, here’s a first look

Apple has acquired the classical music streaming service Primephonic in 2021 with a promise to integrate it with Apple Music in the future with a new “Classical” app. After nearly two years, Apple has finally confirmed that Apple Music Classical will launch later this month. And it comes with something that regular Apple Music should definitely have but doesn’t: a stand-alone app.

What do you mean that Apple Music doesn’t come with a stand alone app when it is a stand alone app?

It's out now but it does not allow downloads at the moment.

Workaround is to add the album/playlist to the library, open the regular Apple Music App and download it there. Same tracks, same quality. However, this does not work for all albums/playlists as there is a difference in catalog between the two and also from what I can see Apple Music Classical has some more information about the track/album.

However, Airplay works fine, so that is an option.

General a nice selection of tracks with loads of "lossless" available.

Although, for me, it included Kraftwerk in my playlists for some reason...

Bizarre that there's no Mac app. I assume there's no web version either?
