Has anyone had Radiofrequency ablation or nerves burnt in their joints?

Just wondering in general terms how people who had them done found them and how they felt afterwards.Reading online the procedure seems to vary from 10-40 mins

I get RF ablation fairly regularly for a neuropathic issue. I have found it be very effective when it works. I have had 3/4 treatments a year over the past 3½ years and the majority of them worked and when they work they work very well.

It can take a week or 2 to feel the benefit and even then, it's a strange situation. You will likely have a pain-free day or 2 immediately post procedure as the local anaesthesia & steroids wear off. My experience is of days 1&2 being fairly pain free before the local stuff wears off with 3/4 days of gradually improving pain before full relief is needed.

Good luck with the procedure and I hope it works for you.
