6800 XT for €650 or 6900 XT for €750?

Its down to €659 today. I got some serious overclocking on my card getting the same FPS on Total War WH3 as RX 6950 XT. Definitely buy 6800xt and undervolt it with slight overclock and you wont be disappointed great card for less money.

I was actually eyeing up that exact card on Caseking yesterday. I'd opt for DHL Express because...impatience, so it would come to €710 all in.

the CPU fan looks like it could be from Cooler Master possibly a 212 Black edition if I remember the name correctly.

The case is a Be Quiet 500Dx mid tower, It comes with three be quiet fans two in the front 120mm one at the rear. I purchased extra fan for the front but I think its only 80mm because any larger would not fit. Also have eaxta fan at top of the case just above CPU fan 3 fans in 2 fans out. Anyway Temps when idle around 40c playing games vary God of War only about 65c. Warhammer highest temp was 71c.

This is the case I got at Caseking a bit more money now I got it for €100.

Thanks. Thinking of changing to something different from my current Noctua fan on my next build due to my PC being on display in my living room. And the beige colour of Noctua looks ugly.

Lol..I was actually going to buy this case, but I couldn't get it in white when I was doing my build last July. On the 6800xt great card but be mindful some people had coil whine with it. I went for it anyway and had no issues.

Update on this: I said I'd get the 6800 XT from Caseking, and that was the intention. But, I managed to get a STRIX AIO watercooled 6900 XT with a binned XTXH chip for 10e less. Will have it on Sunday.

AIO and XTXH should make it a great card. They top all the bench mark scores.

So, the 6900 XT out of the box does better than my heavily overclocked 3080 did. Overall, I'm happy enough, two minor problems though. One, in my 4000D Airflow, to use the rad on the card as an exhaust which only makes sense, because I don't want to be pumping up to 370 watts into the case, I had to replace my third party tower cooler for the CPU with the stock Intel one because of clearance issues. That poxy thing is so loud and whiney. And two, the Radeon software is very, very different to what I'm used to with Nvidia.
