I'm not sure if this will help but....

We had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. I couldn't get a plumber to come out so I was on my own.

The shower was directly above the kitchen.

I marked out where the shower outlet was and drilled a hole in teh ceiling big enough to get an inspection camera in.

The outlet pipe had become detached from the shower. I fastened it back and put in an inspection panel (from Screwfix) in case it ever happens again.
