    lube/move them occasionally and they'll last a good while.

    if using your bike in everything the Irish climate can throw at us, when you're doing your 6 monthly strip down/regrease/rebuild is an ideal time to do it.




    you ARE doing six monthly stripdown/regrease/rebuilds, aren't you....?

    I found a possible issue with the new cable I installed. Its a Jagwire outer cable that has an end cap pre installed on the cable. It’s a very snug fit, when it’s pushed into the barrel adjuster. I removed it and refitted it and it’s a lot better.

    I still maintain that the Shimano barrel adjusters are over engineered! Totally unnecessary to have 3 separate components!
