Head of Holding Definition

Does anyone know where to find out what the Department means by Head of Holding? Is it just having a name on the herd number or is it having the entitlements in your name as well as your name on the bank account? I see it in the T & C for the Young Farmers Scheme.

I think all those things and major bills in your name also (feed merchants, contractors etc)

Milk account , bank account , department herd number and more or less everything that goes on on farm to have young farmer name on it

Thanks. So if your name is on the herd number previously than 5 years but not the rest of the conditions, there shouldn’t be a problem qualifying for YFS?
