Really pathetic second half by Galway. Defenders miles behind the Limerick attacker for every ball in and attackers behind the limerick defenders for every ball at the other end.

Another Limerick lad runs straight into a Galway defender and it's a another soft free.

I wouldn't blame him to be honest. There is very little to like about this Limerick team. Great hurlers but do everything on the edge and referees always on their side.

Yeah they had 1-12 by the 24th minute. They've been hopeless since.

No ball winners in the Galway forward line and still limping it up to them. Tactically clueless from Henry and relying on old stagers to win games.

Galway must be a tough team to support the past few years. They'd need to be 10 points up going into injury time to have any faith in them.

Limerick very comfortable now... looks like they have timed their training to perfection... they look alot fitter today than they did during the whole munster campaign

Whatever Galway said at half time, they may as well have stayed in the sheds.

Barely fired a shot. A second half pasting here.

A bit like Tyrone-Kerry and Dublin-Mayo last week, the expected cracker turned into a damp squib

Galway are like a Junior B team right now, Limerick have destroyed them in the second half.

How many touches has Whelan got in the second half?

Not his fault, have the rest of the team forgot he's there?

Very poor from Galway after an electric start

In ways the second half really has shown how lucky Henry was to get such a tactically clueless Tipp in the last round. There was no way Limerick would stay trying the same thing if it wasn't working. Galway have though. Hannon not playing and Lynch is not at the pace, and they are winning this pulling up.

Limericks easiest game of the year by a mile. Strolled home.

Seems to have gone the same way as the hand pass rule

Full time Limerick 2-24 Galway 1-18. From the 28th minute today Limerick showed why they are going for 4 All Ireland titles in a row or 5 out of the last 6 All Ireland titles on offer.

Apparently Galway hurlers have won just 1 of their last 12 Championship matches in Croke Park. Limerick in comparison have won 9 of their last 10 championship games in Croke Park. (only defeat to Kilkenny by 1 point in the 2019 AI semi final)

Did Limerick do even one legitimate handpass ? No one seems to care anymore

Clare or Kilkenny will put up a lot more of a fight than Galway today. Very one dimensional performance and looked out on their feet for large parts of that second half.

Henry Shefflin should step down as Galway Manager.

Clare or Kilkenny could learn a lot from that game. How to get ahead, and certainly how not to squander a lead and go out with a whimper!

Ah he is done id say. That team is at nothing. Need a reset.

This feels like an awful filthy thing to say, but i wouldn't mind Kilkenny winning the all Ireland just to stop Limerick! As for Galway they've won multiple underage all Irelands over the last thirty or so years, and have just the one senior all Ireland to show for it, when they beat a county (Waterford) with even more accumulated excess mental baggage than themselves in the final.

Galway are the second biggest county in Ireland, and have only won two senior football all Irelands since 1966, and just the one senior hurling all Ireland since 1988. If i was a Galway fan i'd be asking some serious hard questions of Henry Shefflin this evening.

Does the first 90 per cent of your comment not give Henry an exemption
