    Dont weep im rejoicing in the presence of the lord i seen this on a Grave Headstone recently but i dont see this in :2 Corinthians 5  8,

    Can anyone enlighten me.

    2 Cor 5:8 doesn't say that, but it does say "we would rather leave the body and go home to the Lord". Perhaps whoever devised this tombstone felt that that verse was supportive of the main idea expressed, that we should not weep for the dead because they have they joy of being in the presence of God.
