It’s literally a Tesla Referral Link thread. People share there codes and if somebody uses them they get money off a new car.

The referral contribute then receives some kickback in the form of shop credits.

I received a notification confirming that an order was placed using my referral code, and have a couple of questions.

Will I be notified when the car is delivered and credits made available?

Can the credits be used to purchase heated steering wheel and rear seats?

@Gumbo tried to use credits for this upgrade but it wasn't available at the time.

Yes as this referral program is different in that you get a physical euro balance added to your account. You should be good to get the heated seats using the credit once delivered.

It has varied over time. New buyer gets €500 off and the referees get €750 credit.

It was €250 a few months back for the referee.

Went through the process of buying a new tesla on the app (already have a model 3 so i got the 500 euro Loyalty. discount) ,I also have 750 euro in credits and It clearly says on the app during the buying process that this can be used towards a new vehicle purchase. Looked everywhere but there is no way of adding it to my purchase. rang them today and they seemed a bit unsure, then said it is for US only , But it is very clearly advertised in the app that i can use it for a new car purchase…🤔 anybody know the story with this? its clearly stated in the app when purchasing?

Not yet, but I did give them a call yesterday and they said the would look into it but also said it can't be used for the purchase of a new car which directly contradicts what is shown on the app. Asked me to send a screenshot of the app which I did (not sure why, I'm sure somebody there has the app!)

Referrals seem to be broken at the moment.

If you use one on a white car, it works but if you change colour or go back to white, it's no longer applied.

Edit, works if you refresh after changing so be careful!

Afterthought, is it historical credits you have? I don't think these can be used for new car purchases, just a limited amount of merch/SuC/Premium Connectivity.

The new Credits program that was launched late last year is the one that should be redeemable against new car purchase….
