    Hi

I'm returning from long term sick leave after Easter. I've been off sick 1st of Sept and am currently on TRR.

My question should I have been contacted by anyone from occupational therapy or medmark

Also will I go back on full pay and get paid for summer.

    Thanks

Yes medmark have to clear you for return to work. I was extended leave at one time and had to fight for them to clear me. Very rude personnel that I dealt with anyway.

Yes you will paid normally over the summer. You may get Easter pay if you can get return date from today but think once you're there the first day - you'll be entitled to it.

Once you are absent for four weeks in a row you should have had contact from Medmark. That's up to HR if you are in an ETB to organise. Not sure how it works for non ETB schools. They have to sign you off to say you are well enough to go back to work. Sometimes that's straightforward enough, I broke my leg a few years ago so was out for 2 months or so. Had a phone consultation with a medmark nurse a couple of days before I went back which pretty much went 'Hi, I've got the cast off my leg and can walk again' 'OK, grand, we'll pass you as fit for work'.
