We are getting our living-room windows upgraded to triple glazing and would like to get a skylight put in as the room faces north east and is quite dark.

The company doing the windows doesn't do skylights unfortunately.

We would like a fairly large one about 1 metre wide (or two smaller ones if cheaper).

The house is a bungalow in Loughlinstown.

Does anyone have a rough guideline for what we should expect to pay, also any recommendations for suppliers?

No real idea of cost but from a planning point of view, what side of the roof are you talking about? Front, side or rear?

Would you consider a Velux window. It can be boxed off.

During warm summers you could open it to cool the room

Hi, my sister had to replace her “domed skylight’” recently. Unit cost about €900, her hubby was able to do the job
