Hi folks A family member from England and their pet dog is staying with us at the moment. Prior to coming over to Ireland from the UK we had to get an Animal Health Certificate at the cost of £160. The UK vet suggested that we explore the possibility of getting an Irish Pet Passport. I’ll call our own vets tomorrow, but…

Hi folks
A family member from England and their pet dog is staying with us at the moment.
Prior to coming over to Ireland from the UK we had to get an Animal Health Certificate at the cost of £160.
The UK vet suggested that we explore the possibility of getting an Irish Pet Passport.
I’ll call our own vets tomorrow, but we’re just interested in finding out if this is possible and if so, if anyone has experienced any benefits or drawbacks ?
