Hi,
Maybe someone could advise. The small business exemption of €1000 for a director of a company. I have a trading company with its shares held by a holding company and profits from trading company paid as dividends to the holding every year. I’m a director on both companies, can I give myself a €1000 tax free bonus from both companies or is there a limit? I don’t take a salary from the trading company and the holding company just pays dividends to my personal holding company.

you can only €1000 from one company, you cant get it from both companies and you need to be on the payroll to be eligible for it.
