A colleague of mine is in a PAYE position

However he is also registered for income tax because he is a director of a LTD company and he is a director of that company.

Each year he does a form 11 as required. No problem at all.

However, he is now leaving Ireland and will not be returning this year at all. He is going traveling.

He will be travelling to different countries

Therefore he will not be receiving any income from his PAYE position because he will be ceased in May and he won't be receiving any income from the LTD company for the remainder of the year.

His tax credits are all allocated to his PAYE position.

He wants to complete a p50 for a repayment of the USC and income tax /balancing statement in regards to his PAYE employment.

He still will do a form 11 next year in respect of this year

But the question is, Can a person who is registered for income tax even do a p50 return?

Any advice or thoughts are appreciated.
