Is Barry Hearn going to give the spectators their money back for this afternoon's session? Only 1 table and potentially just 2 frames.

Si, missed the crucial red for the frame, so it possibly could be 3 frames.

    Should have been over

    Nice save from milkins

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Rob milkins is getting points not even potting a ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

At times I do wonder if Si brain disengages at times.

Rob has relaxed now a bit, nothing to lose. That was a nice cannon for the last red.

He'll be punished for that in later rounds

Should have wrapped it up frame before last

A classy player though with a good temperament

He played his best stuff against Perry when he was well behind too. Seems to relax when it seems the games up and pressure is off

Should have been over after 2 frames and less than an hour but Si has another good opportunity to finish it off here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,212 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

This time he gets frame ball and that's the end of that. Spectators have been short changed this afternoon. And viewers at home.

I expect big things from SI

Maybe not this year but you never know

I've it narrowed down to :

    ROS

    Allen

    Si

favourable mentions for Selby , Higgins, Brecel and can't completely rule out McGill... don't think it'll be Gary Wilson's year however

wide open this - would also expect good things from Jak Jones, but perhaps not for another couple of years

    😁😁

will go with a Ronnie/Mark Allen final

Selby/Higgins promises to be clash of titans - mayn't be the most entertaining encounter tho, but a tough one for sure. winner'll be wrecked for semis i'd imagine

Milkins wasn't good enough to punish SI

Fancy O'Sullivan cos of the draw and his final record

The BBC TV coverage is so frustrating. Over 3 hours of dead time this afternoon that was pencilled in for snooker due to matches finishing early. They've only 2 hours of live coverage this evening.

The problem I'm having is they don't always show both tables live

They have the channels 3,4 cbeebies , red button

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,735 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

Could only be 5 frames played tonight across both tables.

Does Barry hearn look like the generous type😁

Taking the protestors to court to get customers their refunds 😁

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That was a good start by jack Lisowski but he needs more of the same.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Maybe it’s happened before but I’ve not seen this set up.

McGill could only play the black and had to use the spider rest and the ordinary rest on top of each other to be able to play it.

Wilson a few pots away from 11-7 on t'other table.. not beat yet is Gary 🙄

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,262 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Is that the brown on the black spot?

This frame is all over the shop!

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

11-7 in the McGill lisowski game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,460 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

Jack making a respectable show of things

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,719 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

Jack L is going for it. Apparently they had a 10-9 decider recently. Where Jack made a comeback but McGill still one decider.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

I would really love to see Lisowski come back and win this. I doubt it'll happen, but I'd love to see him go far in this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,874 ✭✭✭✭Rothko

Silly shot by Jack there. That could give the frame away.

Selby about to steal frame 19 here

Gary missed a tough red with cueball in jaws of blue pocket , to black right pocket. Out comes the jester facing a a 7 outta 10 red from just off black cushion.. three times he chalked his cue before potting the last red 😌

he's surely the Djokovic of snooker, is Mark. aint half annoying watching him deliberate an age for no apparent reason 😒

12-7 now. surely it's all over for for Tyneside Taximan

    Apparently it won't.
