I’m not sure McGill can win this match…

Well Lisowski has won another after McGill played for a red that didn’t go.

Is Peter Ebdon coaching more than one player? Wasn't paying full attention, I thought that's what was said..... bit awks that!!

    C'mon Jack!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,165 ✭✭✭hayrabit

ya , both Lisowski and McGill are being coached/schooled/advised by Ebdon

    awks indeed 😋

per comms, yesterday, Pete was only going to advise each player re their own game, and not mentioning the opponent, in any of his pep talks

    End of break.

Selby in with a matchwinning chance here - 30 or so points up, and he's in amongst them

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

You can tell McGill is tense as he changed his mind on where to put the cue ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,165 ✭✭✭hayrabit

life in it yet - Selby runs outta position, and goes in-off from thin blue,, plenty points left, but Gary misses long red :(

    curtains - handshake imminent

    hope Higgins beats him 13-11

That's another massive slice of luck for Jack. Missing the red and getting the double kiss to send the white back up into baulk.

Edit: And he's just had another huge chunk of good fortune.

What's going on here: was McGill not 10-1 up or something?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,165 ✭✭✭hayrabit

barely sundown - and snooker appears all over for the day 😴

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,262 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

So, will McGill tense up even more with the pressure of being 1 frame from the win - or relax a bit more that he's actually put a break together and won a frame......

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,165 ✭✭✭hayrabit

come on Jack ! hang in until 10pm at least 😃

    mon Antnee 🙂

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,165 ✭✭✭hayrabit

yep, he was. just mentioned there by comms

forgot he was that far behind - what with all the drubbings recently !

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,113 ✭✭✭Sandor Clegane

Jack just not savvy enough to keep the pressure on McGill, McGill looked bang under pressure there and Lisowski goes and hands the frame to him, should be over now...but McGill definitely wobbling.

Just saw this today Higgins giving out about getting the short straw Quarter Final - his one v Selby will be back to back no rest - starting afternoon.

I think this gives Selby a massive advantage- Higgins could get knackered if turns into a long drawn out battle as expected.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

McGill missed, ref called foul and miss, but likowski still on 0 points?!🤔

    on, score updated now

Jack L gets a second chance only needs another 30 ish to go 12-10 down. He missed simple red.

Good solid 60 plus by McGill to take frame and match unless Jack gets a snooker - blue ball game. Lisowski back to school more likely

    he failed 😋

can't blame him having a few nerves - having seen his massive lead evaporated.

I don’t given Higgins a hope against Selby. Every time they play Higgins collapses in the last session.

Angles McManus comes out with another great line on Eurosport.

Radzi discussing how little is known about Si.

McManus - I think he doesn’t know much about himself yet!
