Anyone know is it hard to get the free GP visit card 2 adults 4 kids here all over 6, 2 of us working on about 40K each before tax. Paying for everything and a lot of Tax and sweet f all left each week. Heard your man Donloen on the radio saying that we should be all have them.

GP visit card is free.. meaning there is no means test. You just need to apply online with proof of childs age, family residence etc.

dartboardio that is not correct. If that was the case every person in the country would have free GP care.

You are entitled to it, without means test, if you're over 70 or under 6. Anyone between those ages are means tested

If you check the citizens information website OP there is a lot of information there including income allowances etc.

Unfortunately, I think on around €40K each you'll be outside any income threshold. No harm in looking and sending in an application anyway. Your medical expenses are considered even if you're income is above the threshold.
