Tegral faulty slates

    Hi -

    I see many people here have had problems with Tegral slates going back many years now. Our house was roofed in 2007/08. The slates are disintegrating over the past few years. We have been in contact with the company via letter but getting nowhere. They took some slates for testing and come back saying they are meet EN492 standards, so no requirement for replacement or remedial work!

    We are just wondering if anyone out there is dealing with similar issues at the moment or if anyone has had success getting their homes re-rooded with Tegral paying the bill?

    Originally we went back to our supplier. They gave us an email address of a company to contact - Etex Ireland Ltd. Anyone else dealing with them?

    We'd appreciate some information/advice. Many thanks
