Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Small Claims court -- but I'm not the purchaser

I have a property where the agent bought a new washer dryer which then broke down after just 6 weeks -- that was a year ago and the replacement parts are still unavailable.

The retailer still refuses to replace the machine so I want to go the small claims court, however the actual purchaser of the product was the agent and its their name on the receipt, however I want to make the claim because I have time to do this whereas the agent doesn't.

Can I make the claim even though my name isn't on the receipt?

You can represent the agent but the claim must be in the agents name and signed by the agent. The agent can authorise you to appear.
