UK freeview issue

I have a strange issue with a sky box I use for freeview. If I was watching Rte and I switched to hdmi 1 for freeview the sound doesn't work. If I power off and on the sky box it works fine.

Possibly a HDMI handshake, no big issue, used to happen on an old Panasonic TV I had
