There was intermittent issues with the Bank of Ireland mobile app on Friday night. This lasted about 30 minutes and then the app was back up and running. Apologies if this caused any inconvenience.

When it does work it's grand what annoys me is Face ID, doesn't work think I've logged in once correctly with it.

Always end up having to log in with my pin

Not working for me either.

As a former Ulster bank customer it’s unbelievable how far behind BoI are with their app compared to Ulster bank. It’s a very poor app and very slow to access on the odd occasion it is working.

Is there any chance BoI could hire the tech people that used to be with Ulster Bank!?

Under-deliver on savings account interest, the in person experience by reducing the number of cashiers, and now the online experience.

The sooner more players like Revolut disrupt banking in this country and put all of these cowboys out of a job the better.

The bank of Ireland system is a piece of crap. It looks and feels like something a college student designed in 1997. It wouldn't surprise me if this latest collapse is because the windows 95 computer it works on finally stopped working.

The guy who knows how to update the SSL cert on the domain is probably on his two weeks off so we'll have to wait a while before it's back working again!

It’s a complete failure of very basic routine infosec oversight. Somebody in charge of renewing cert probably on holidays.
