Options for Plant Support

Hi All

My wife has decided the side of our shed needs some creepers - to add more green to the view. Rather than a trellis (and I'm not 100% sure how best to secure a wooden trellis anyway !) - I'm wondering if I could use some plant wire anchored off existing bolts in the shed to create a criss-cross wire support. Does this make sense ??, and if so what wire should I consider ??. Any suggestions appreciated. Pic below.

You could easily secure a wooden trellis without any damage to the shed.

If you take a timber thats long enough you can slide it under the flashing at one end then slide it back so its halfway under the flashing at either end. Do that in two spots one high one low and then screw your trellis to it.

Or you could just plant Ivy and let it do its thing?

Or if you take the flashing off carefully at one end you could use it to hold a couple of full length strips of timber. Never liked crisscross wire except maybe over a stronger framework to hold a plant in place.
