Probation Act twice for Same violation

    I understand this is not legal advice but I just want to get a feel if this is something seen by legal folk or not.








    Can one receive Probation Act / order twice for the same offense committed 10 years apart? (Sec 3 mda). Especially if you can now prove you have taken a ton of steps to better ones selve?


    Is this heard of at all?

    There is nothing stopping a judge applying the probation act to somebody who had received it previously.
