Turn the volume down to 0 on the sat nav is the only way i think.

What are people setting the heat up to following the update?

My wife is getting concerned about the braking in my Atto 3. Personally I haven't seen any problem, bit of rumbling sometimes when braking but nothing very bad.

I am just wondering how often the brake pads should be changed? Given the regen braking I assume they are not going to wear very quickly. We have had it 18 months or so, but have put up a lot of distance on it, my wife has been up and down to galway from dublin frequently because of a parent being ill so it has done almost 100k kilometres.

Is there an indicator light to show brake pads are worn? Does anyone know whether they specify a distance after which they should be changed? Is there any easy way to check them?

At 100k it’s certainly worth checking the pads. In an ICE, they would have been done by now. But an EV, you could have another 50k in them depending on the pad quality etc

It’s very possible the pads have degraded so get out there and look at the pad thickness. You can see it through the wheel spikes on most cars. Otherwise just jack it up and take the wheel off and have a good inspection.

If you can’t do that, go to any local mechanic and ask them to inspect the pads for signs of fatigue, failure or unevenness.

You may just need new pads.

No facelift coming but the newer model will possibly have towing capability as some additional underbody item will be included.

A facelift was launched late in 2024 so make sure that’s hit here for new orders or wait if that’s your chosen, but there deffo was a facelift to the original one.

The one giveaway from a quick glance if your passing one is the removal of the cringy “Build Your Dreams” test across the rear.

Towing capacity would be a bonus so I will keep my powder dry until its launched thanks.

My understanding of the facelift is that it is addition of black as a colour and new interior colours. There is no change to the mechanics or electronics/electrics that will increase torque and increase towing capacity.

Definitely the logo on the rear is just byd plus the black paint now instead of the silver, but no facelift as such.
