What constituencies gave Fine Gael the highest percentae vote in last election - are these the richest parts of Ireland with rich landlords & Dairy Farmers ?

Mayo 39% - 2 TDS in the county with most emmigration in the country ??

Cork North West 33 % - 1 TD , many dairy farmers

Limerick County 32 % - Even more rich farmers

Dun Laoighire 34% - 1 TD , lots of old British votes & Money

Dublin Rathdown 31 % - 2 TDs Rich part of Dublin

Dublin Bay South 28% - 1 TD More well heeled voters

Well, does Mayo seem like a county full of "Rich Landlords" or Dairy Farmers? What makes you think that FG voters are either farmers or landlords?

And you think there's enough big dairy farmers to swing a vote? Dream on. Around here we have what would be considered a good number of large dairy farms but the number of farming families would be outnumbered at least 5 to 1 by white and blue collar workers.
