5 day break in June - looking for hotel on beach 2/3 hour flight max

Not overly fussy but know what we want in terms of accommodation - double room with balcony and sea view. Ideally on or very close to beach. Spain, France Italy all options but would love a recommendation for a hotel / apartment ticking the previously mentioned boxes. Flights into Santander look good for example but cannot get the accommodation we want. €500 per person incl flights is the budget. Is last minute booking still a thing via travel agents ?

4d 3n in Malta. Flew from Shannon. €600 for flights/hotel/snn short term parking. Self cater. Flew out on 12th February. Booked on 5th Feb. 2 adults 2 kids

June=peak season. No deals going

Maybe look at Alicante- some lovely hotels right on the beach and a lovely old town on the doorstep- short flight and 20 min taxi ride from Airport

Thanks all. Alicante was in contention but flight times not great or too expensive.

We've settled on Bilbao with a hotel down at the beach/port area of Getxo.

What is accommodation like for "€500 per person incl flights"? Is it better if more people. I want to go to Malaga for three nights around September. Travelling alone. I want a hotel near beach. Any help to find best deal.? What is good for three nights?

Not sure if you want Portugal but anyway, Dom Jose hotel, Quarteria. Vilamoura a nice stroll away.
