ATM Lodgement error

Hi,

An issue just happened as I was trying tonlodge cash to my account via an ATM. An error came up saying to contact staff as my money will be not be deposited into my account and it spat out half of the amount I lodged.

Please advise on what to do next as it is Saturday so no over the phone customer service available.

Call the bank on Monday and they will sort it. They would have been over a certain amount at the end of the day. It happened to me before and it was deposited the next working day after I contacted the branch. They might ask you for exact amount and denominations they were in.

If the ATM retained the cash, this should have been lodged to your account this morning when the branch reopened.
