    Not cheap.

    $1799 in the US

£1,749 in UK with free watch

It looks quite nice. I won't be getting this version but might be tempted by gen 2 if it gets discounted enough. Will be interested to see if it goes on sale often/ever. The pixel phones are constantly on sale on the likes of Amazon and the Google store itself but you rarely see too much being discounted off the watch.

Haven't fully looked at the specs yet. How does it compare to an Amazon warehouse Fold 4 for a few hundred less?

I've a Fold4 and love it. The wide outer screen on the Pixel Fold looks great though. The Fold4's is just a bit too narrow

If it was about a grand cheaper I could see a market in Ireland for maybe 100 of them 😁.

Free watch is for USA, UK and Germany only. Poor form again from Google.

It's not a good trend with Google over the last year or so, excluding Ireland from products and promotional offers. Heading back to the way things used to be.

I do like the look of a foldable, and it's functionality would come in handy for a lot of things I do on a daily basis. On the flip side, I like to be able to put my phone on a holder on my motorbike....that wouldn't be happening with a foldable.

Seriously, who can justify 1799 for a phone.

I know nowadays your phone is moe than just a phone, but thats mid-range Laptop kind of money.

True but a top spec iphone is over €1500 I think...
