Refurbishment of Comerford House / Museum Extension (LA4/2018)

anyone know, 5 years on, what's happening with this redevelopment project? I mean, Comerford House is more or less derelict and embarrassing.. it'd be revealing to know what must tourists really think as they gaze on..

It was mentioned in this report on the Tribune last week. Councillors were under the impression that it was being done at the same time as the flood defence scheme but that's not until 2029 now, so If they don't know in the council then I'd say nobody knows, it's their project after all.

how can our council let a public building, donated to us in good faith, get into this state, it's infuriating.. I guess none of the council staff involved live in the area or have any civic compass. I've emailed the council so sadly waiting for a cop-out response.
