I don’t think he was, I think his arms were wrapped up so he couldn’t break his fall and basically smacked his head off the turf.

How is this not a card? Forearm to the head. First point of impact was the chin. It knocked him out.

Awful for Connors and not ideal having VDF play 79 minutes the week before the Champions Cup final.

Also weakens the impact Leinster can bring from the bench later in the game if it's needed.

Yeah, he definitely caught him but you're talking a fractionally high arm. Outcome was deeply unfortunate but its only a penalty.
