Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ive given up on spending large sums of money on " waterproof " goretex gloves, as they dont really work, they do for a while then they leak eventually. And you cant get a refund / exchange after a few months which is bullsh1t.

i bike all year round, so this might be a cheaper and actual solution to the current gloves i wear, by keeping the water actually off them completely, thus keeping hands dry/warm.

I was looking at these mitts - they go over your normal gloves, they have to be worth a shot for 15e ?

anyone got a pair or use something similar ?

Not really them but got a set of Givi muffs for my Tiger. There perfect. They've stayed on even after winter. Hands do get warm but the gloves stay dry.

yeah. tks, , considered muffs but theyre a bit combersome looking. i use bike or scooter etc, so the mitts will be a lot cheaper too.

Do these still have the problem of pushing back on your brake/clutch lever when making progress? I know a lot of people who used to courier and they wouldn't use these types of covers for that reason.

The Givi and Tuscano ones are more rigid. The Givi ones I have TM412 are designed for use with hand guards already on the bike. They have other models but not sure if they hold their shape at speed.

I had ones like that years ago but gave up on them, just too hard to take on and off. Didn't like the lack of finger movement either.

You can see in the photos that the end of the handgrips pass out through the sides of the covers, so it looks like there is enough support there to prevent them blowing right back.

Look for a pair of Rain Off over-gloves.

They are made in New Zealand, and worth every penny.

I used my pair for 6 years commuting summer and winter from Gorey to Bray. And they are still 100% leak free.
