Im guessing these are crap watches. Looking for an interesting chronograph with a vintage vibe.

I know nothing at all about the current LiP but they have a long history. Wibbs is the man for the vintage stuff.

On the watch above, it's good looking and has a reliable movement. If you like the look,go for it IMO.

+1 For 250 quid you can't really go too far wrong Mondeo. As Banie said LIP have a long and interesting history; first luminous dials, first reliable electronic movement, helped get the first modern dive watch to market, first to bring in outside non watch industry designers to rev up their ranges. The vintage originals are going to cost eight to ten times that depending on condition and would be more delicate and as water resistant as a teabag so...

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Macron occasionally wears one, and he also gave one to Biden as a gift.

Speaking purely what's available out there for the money having 50m water resist and mineral glass crystal is sub par.

If you want a funky chrono in that price range consider the seagull 63. My one keeps fantastic time and has proven to be robust. Your paying for a mechanical hand wound column wheel chrono and they're available in both plexi/sapphire and 38/42.
