    has anyone stayed/ate/drank in the Victoria Hotel off Eyre Square since it was revamped? Cannot believe the price for 2 nights in Sept - €592 for a Friday and Saturday night

    any opinions appreciated thanks

    Well we were in the bar last Sunday week, food looked good, has had a very expensive looking makeover, drinks were grand, know nothing about rooms

    The last time we were there the refurb looked great but the food didn't get the same upgrade. Mains still came with a side of carrots, cauliflower and a scoop of mash.
