Looking for RTX 4090 24GB, Intel, 2TB but prices I see are €4000 is there an affordable option. I’m new to pc gaming but the specs I listed above I know I want.

The high end of any product is usually not the "affordable" option. Especially in the PC gaming market currently.

From a performance/cost perspective, the 4090 is a waste of money.

You would be better off setting a budget and then purchasing within that budget.

You should be able to build a PC with a 4090 for in and around 2.5k euro

    But what is your use-case?

RTX 4090 is a dumb, dumb card for most purposes.

I have to ask about monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset. Chair and desk even. Spending 2.5k on a computer and then to use it with a kitchen chair and some Dell keyboard/mouse with a 1080p60 monitor is not ideal either.

I'm assuming that "new to PC gaming" means that you have very basic options if any at all.

That's exactly it, I presume the idea is to play at 4K max at a bare minimum, but really ideally 4K max 100+ fps ideally with an RTX4090.

    So you'd want a good TV/monitor.

Otherwise you might as well throw money into the fireplace.

I agree with the general points that it's hard to see where the value is in the GPU market at the moment, although maybe AMD's mid-tier launches next week will change that.

CaseKing.de seem to have the cheapest overall 4090 cards shippable to Ireland, that I could find currently. PCPartPicker prices are often 5-10% higher, when you account for higher Irish VAT, and shipping to Ireland.

If you mainly want the bragging rights of a "top tier" card and don't care too much about peak ray tracing performance (or content creation/video editing or machine learning/AI), the AMD 7700 XTX is pretty good. About €1200 new from CaseKing.de (including a free Starfield Premium Edition key). Amazon.de currently have some used like new for about €1100:
